Project Y.O.O.T. (Youth Out Of Trouble) Summer Camp provides fun, cultural enrichment, spritual enhancement and serves as a catalyst for academic achievement in our youth. Y.O.O.T. provides supervised education, recreation, and cultural enrichment activities to children and youth between the ages of 6-15 years.

A structured calendar outlines daily devotion, math, science, language arts, computer lab and recreation. A project end celebration encompasses a cultural enrichment field trip for all participants.

For additional information, contact Sis. Charlene Watkins or Sis. Fannie Lee.

Discipleship 2000 Top of Page

Discipleship 2000 is a seven-step plan of discipleship for the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

Discipleship 2000 affirms the reality that when Jesus calls us to follow, he is not looking for occasional use of our gifts. He wants our lives.

Discipleship 2000 believes that we are called to recognize that God is and that God reaches out in love through Jesus Christ to bring us back to our Creator.

Discipleship 2000 contends that "Once we turn to God we must, like the prodigal, also turn away from the past. We must, in repentance, turn away from all that was destroying us, our lives, and relationships, and through the One who dies in our stead find new beginnings and forgiveness of our sins."

Discipleship 2000 proposes a Seven-Step Plan of Discipleship Empowerment for the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. A program of discipleship designed to engage ministers and layperson of every age in the process of forming Christian Disciples around the teachings of Jesus. If the Church is to empower persons for growth in the Christian Faith, we must take serious the matter that personal commitment to Christ and His Church requires serious preparation and life-long training.
