OUR BELIEFS
Our Statement of Faith is Biblical-based, and rest solidly on the Word of God. It is summarized in our Affirmation of Faith, called the Apostles' Creed.
WE BELIEVE IN:
1. God the Father, Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth. (Malachi 2:10; Galatians 4:4-7; Genesis 1:ff)
2. Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried, the third day he arose from the dead, he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. (Luke 7:18-23; Hebrews 1:1-4; Luke 1:26-35; Matthew 1:18-25; Acts 1:6-11; Romans 2:1-16)
3. The Holy Spirit. (Acts 1; Acts 2:1-4; John 14:16-18)
4. The Holy Catholic (universal) Church. (1 Corinthians 1:1-3)
5. The Communion of saints. (John 14:4-5; Acts 4:32-35)
6. The Forgiveness of sins. (Psalm 51; Matthew 6:14-15; Ephesians 4:31-32)
7. The Resurrection of the body. (1 Corinthians 15:35-38)
8. And Life everlasting - Amen.
